Veronica Roshek has been named the Head Softball Coach at Urbandale High School.
Roshek is no stranger to the J-Hawk program, coaching the past two seasons at Urbandale. She is a graduate of Simpson College where she was a four-time letterwinner and earned 2nd Team All-Conference in 2010 and 2011; she was named to the Capital One All-America Scholar-Athlete 1st Team in 2011.
Roshek currently teaches in the Perry Community School District.
Roshek becomes the fifth Softball Coach in Urbandale High School history, replacing Kim Jones who resigned this fall to take the position of Head Softball Coach at AIB in Des Moines.
