Urbandale lost to Dowling Catholic on Friday night at Frerichs Field 30-16.

After Dowling scored following an 80 yard drive, Markell Colemon went 71 yards on the J-Hawks' first play from scrimmage to move ahead of the Maroons 7-6.

In the 2nd Quarter, Dowling added a Field Goal before Ben Hurley connected with Markell Colemon for his second score of the game, putting the J-Hawks ahead 14-9.

Dowling led at the half and Urbandale failed to score in the second half.

Urbandale hosts Johnston on Friday, September 16, 2011, at Frerichs Field.  Both teams enter the game with 2-1 records.
