Urbandale beat Mason City 35-14 to move to 5-3 on the season on Friday night at Frerichs Field.

Urbandale scored first and took a 21-7 lead at halftime.  Mason City scored on the third play of the 2nd half but the J-Hawks defense took over from there, holding Mason City scoreless for the balance of the game. 

Urbandale will host Indianola on Friday, October 21, 2011, to close out the regular season.
