Allen Lazard was named to the Des Moines Register's Elite All State Football Team for his play during the 2011 Football Season. Lazard, who played on both sides of the ball, earned the award as a Defensive Back where he had 8 interceptions on the season.
Lazard and Nick Jepsen were named to the Iowa Newspaper Association's 3rd Team All State Team for Class 4A. Jepsen was named as a Defensive Lineman.
