This year, Urbandale High School Drama will be presenting Snow White, dramatized by J. Michael Straczynski. The tale of the evil Queen out to destroy the most beautiful girl in the land is a story that appeals to all age groups with not only it's drama, but funny dwarves and a Prince who is not only brave but rather foolish. This play will take place November 11th and 12th at 7:30 p.m. in the UHS PAC.

In January, Urbandale High School Drama will also participate in Iowa High School Speech Association's large group contest. UHS Drama will be preparing a one-act, several ensemble acting pieces, and a couple of improvisation groups to compete for judge rankings.

In April, the Drama department will present the musical Oliver! This is the story of a young orphan who is searching for a place to belong and falls in with a group of thieves, led by Fagin and the talented Artful Dodger. This musical presents Charles Dickens classic novel in a wonderful new way and provides great musical numbers and a dramatic ending! This musical will take place on April 19, 20, and 21st at 7:30 in the UHS PAC.
