Following an extensive interview process, we are pleased to share Connor LaGrone has accepted the position of UCSD Assistant Director of Athletics & Activities, pending Board approval.

Since 2022, Connor has been serving as the Associate Activities Director in Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District. While earning his Master of Arts in Sports Management from Western Michigan University, he served as an associate in West Des Moines Schools. In addition to his master's degree, Connor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Iowa and recently completed his Activities Administrator Authorization Certification. 

"I am incredibly honored to be joining the Urbandale Activities Department and excited to support our student-athletes, coaches, and community," said LaGrone. "High School activities play such a pivotal role in building character, leadership, and lifelong memories and I look forward to helping continue the tradition of excellence at Urbandale."
