The Urbandale J-Hawk Football Team excelled on the field and in the classroom. Elijah Ajiri, Nick Bergamo, Elijah Hoyt & Reid Quigley have been named to the Iowa Football Coaches Association's Academic All-State Team.

All 4 members were seniors on the Football Team.

The criteria for Academic All-State with the Iowa High School Football Coaches Association is:

1. Player must be a senior starter.
2. Player must have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better at the end of their junior year.
3. Player must be involved in other extra-curricular activities.
4. The Head Coach must recommend the player.
