As the Conference meet unfolds, it's always interesting because there are so many different agenda's and approaches to this meet.  Some teams do a drop taper and put them in fast suits to see if they can get cut times or compete internally for their regional spots.  Both NW and Dowling were scouting each-other so they can figure out their best lineup to complete for a state title.  For Johnston, the Varsity have just reached their peak yardage weeks of the season, so they like to see them tired at this meet.  The team was looking for good races, but they shouldn't see time drops right now.  The team did exactly what they needed to do today.  Have fun and keep things light.
